“I do not pray for these alone, but also
for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may
be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be
one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me”.
John 17:20-21
Global Christian persecution, global intercession in response
We have received in our hearts, the call to daily intercession for and with Christians worldwide, who are persecuted and oppressed.
The intercession begins with the prayer Jesus taught us in Mathew 6:9-13 in which we pray that
God's will be done and where we ask for forgiveness and give forgiveness.
Then intercession from 1 Timothy 2: 1-2 for all people in positions of authority; pray that God
touches their hearts, so that God's people, Christians, can live in peace, according to His will.
Intercession that closes with Luc 23:34; "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do".
The call is to start a movement of prayer and intercession.
On September 26th, 2015, from 10:00 to 14:00, we will host a ‘global intercession day’ on
the Malieveld in The Hague, Netherlands. We will pray the above mentioned intercessory
prayers in seventy different languages!
You are invited to come and to participate and to pray with us in unity.
We would like to ask for your organization, to publicize these actions and put it where possible on
the agenda.
Do
you know people who want to contribute to the translation of the
prayers, or people who want to pray on September 26th in their mother
tongue, please contact us or fill out the response form on the blog.
