(Matt 6:9-13
Ár nAthair, atá ar neamh, go naofar d'ainm, go dtaga do
ríocht, go ndéantar do thoil, ar an talamh mar a dhéantar ar neamh. Tabhair
dúinn inniu ár n-arán laethúil. Agus maith dúinn ár gcionta, mar a mhaithimid
dá gciontaíonn inár n-aghaidh. Agus ná lig sinn i gcathú, ach saor sinn ón olc.
Óir is leatsa an ríocht, agus an chumhacht, agus an ghlóir, trí shaol na saol. Amen.
Our
Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done,
on earth as is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our
sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And do not lead us into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, now and for ever. Amen.
Prayer based on 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (Gaelic – Irish) Ár nAthair,
atá ar Neamh, guímíd ar son gach uile dhuine atá ag obair in údarásaí ar fud an
domhain. Impímíd ort aithrú a dheanamh in a gcroíeanna; go mbeidh síad
carthanach agus cineálta, agus go mbeidh ceart, agus cóir do chuile dhuine. Go
ndeandar do thoil ionainn ionas go mairimíd i síocháin agus suaimhneas chum
glóire Dé.
Prayer based on 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Father in Heaven, we pray
for everyone who are working in governments worldwide. We cry out to You to
change their hearts so that they may be charitable and kind, and that they may
be fair, and just to everyone. May You will be done in us so that we may live
in peace and tranquility to the glory of God.
Luke 23:34 (Gaelic – Irish)
A Athair, maith dóibh
é; ó nach feasach dóibh cad é átá á dhéanamh acu.
Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do
